We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-driven QA/QC Lead with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering to take full ownership of quality assurance and control across our engineering projects.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works, materials, and processes meet required technical standards, specifications, and client expectations.
The ideal candidate must be meticulous, firm, and confident, with the ability to enforce quality standards, lead QA/QC activities, and prevent costly errors before they occur.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and enforcement of QA/QC systems, procedures, and standards across all projects.
Supervise and guide QA/QC personnel, site engineers, and project teams on quality requirements.
Conduct and oversee inspections of mechanical works, materials, and installations.
Review and approve inspection reports, quality documentation, and compliance records.
Interpret and validate engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Identify non-conformities, lead root cause analysis, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
Ensure all project activities comply with approved quality plans and industry standards.
Lead quality audits, site inspections, and project quality reviews.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain quality expectations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (strongly preferred).
Candidates from other engineering disciplines must demonstrate extensive QA/QC experience in mechanical engineering projects.
5 years relevant QA/QC experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication, installation, and inspection processes.
Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
