About The Role
- The Head of Strategy & Growthwill drive Kaltani’s long-term strategic vision, corporate development, and innovation agenda.
- This role ensures Kaltani remains agile, competitive, and future-ready in the global circular economy landscape leading initiatives that integrate technology, sustainability, and new business models for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Strategy Development:
- Design and implement Kaltani’s multi-year strategic roadmap, aligned withthe company’s growth and sustainability objectives.
- Conduct market, policy, and trend analysis to identify new opportunitiesacross waste, recycling, and renewable sectors.
- Support the CEO and Board in strategic decision-making and performancetracking.
Innovation & Business Transformation:
- Lead development of new technologies, products, and services within therecycling and sustainability value chain.
- Drive digital and operational innovation across business units to improveefficiency and profitability.
- Oversee pilot projects, R&D initiatives, and business model testing for scale up.
Strategic Partnerships & Expansion:
- Cultivate partnerships with governments, investors, DFIs, and innovationecosystems to scale operations.
- Identify acquisition or joint venture opportunities that complement Kaltani’sportfolio.
- Collaborate with CFO and CCO to assess commercial viability of newinitiatives.
Corporate Performance & Governance:
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track strategicexecution.
- Align strategic initiatives with financial, ESG, and operational objectives.
Culture of Innovation:
- Build an internal innovation culture that encourages experimentation andcross-functional collaboration.
- Mentor teams to adopt design thinking and agile methodologies.
Key KPIs (First 12–18 Months)
- Objective: Establish a company-wide strategy execution framework.
- KPI: Implement a performance dashboard linking strategic goals to operational metrics
- across all business units.
- Objective: Drive innovation-led growth.
- KPI: Launch at least two new high-impact initiatives or technologies with measurable
- commercial or environmental results.
- Objective: Expand partnerships and strategic reach.
- KPI: Secure at least two international partnerships or DFI collaborations to support
- innovation projects.
- Objective: Strengthen corporate alignment and governance.
- KPI: Complete annual strategy review and report to Board within agreed timelines.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or business transformation leadership.
- Proven experience developing corporate strategies in industrial, infrastructure, or ESG-driven sectors.
- Deep understanding of circular economy, technology, and sustainability trends.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced degree in Business, Strategy, Engineering, or Sustainability.
- Experience in emerging markets or multinational organizations is an advantage.
