POSITION SUMMARY




  • This role is primarily a SALES & MARKETING Management role, not a routine facility management position.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Driving aggressive revenue growth

  • Increasing facility occupancy rates

  • Building a strong client pipeline

  • Positioning LCCI facilities as a preferred destination for corporate and high-profile events

  • The role also provides strategic support to the Head of Department in executing key business initiatives.



CORE OBJECTIVES




  • Drive revenue growth from facility rentals through proactive sales and marketing

  • Increase occupancy and utilization rates across  facilities being managed by the Department

  • Build and sustain a robust client acquisition and retention strategy

  • Position LCCI facilities as a top-tier events and corporate venue in Lagos



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Sales & Business Development (Primary Focus)




  • Develop and execute data-driven sales and marketing strategies

  • Actively prospect and secure business from:

  • Corporate organizations

  • Event planners

  • Government agencies

  • NGOs and associations

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with clear conversion targets

  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals

  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations



Revenue Generation & Performance Management




  • Own and deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets

  • Track key metrics such as:

  • Occupancy rates

  • Lead conversion rates

  • Revenue per booking

  • Develop pricing and promotional strategies to maximize revenue

  • Provide regular performance reports and forecasts to management



Marketing & Brand Positioning




  • Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns (digital & offline)

  • Strengthen LCCI’s visibility in the events and corporate space

  • Identify market trends and competitor offerings to improve positioning

  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance brand perception and reach



Client Experience & Relationship Management




  • Manage end-to-end client engagement from lead generation to event completion

  • Ensure exceptional customer experience

  • Build long-term relationships with repeat and high-value clients

  • Handle complaints and feedback professionally and proactively



Strategic & Operational Support




  • Support the Head of Department in:

  • Strategic planning

  • Business development initiatives

  • Special projects

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of service offerings and processes



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE




  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field

  • 8–10 years’ experience, with strong emphasis on sales and business development

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets

  • Experience in marquee sales, hospitality, or facility marketing is highly desirable

  • Minimum of 2–3 years in a leadership/supervisory role
