Job Summary
- The Client Business Lead is a senior, marketing-focused role responsible for owning and growing key partner client accounts through strategic marketing leadership, campaign excellence, and strong client partnerships.
- This role is designed for an experienced marketing professional with an agency background who can translate client business objectives into effective, integrated marketing solutions.
- The Client Business Lead acts as a strategic advisor to clients, leading marketing conversations, guiding campaign strategy, and ensuring that Detail & Avedia delivers impactful, insight-driven work that drives measurable results and long-term client value.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Strategic Marketing Ownership:
- Serve as the primary strategic contact for assigned clients, building trusted partnerships grounded in marketing expertise and results.
- Develop a deep understanding of client brands, target audiences, competitive landscape, and marketing objectives.
- Provide proactive, strategic marketing counsel that supports brand growth and business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to expand client engagement through new marketing initiatives, campaigns, or integrated solutions.
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Leadership:
- Lead the development of integrated marketing strategies and campaign roadmaps aligned with client goals and brand positioning.
- Collaborate with clients to define campaign objectives, success metrics, and deliverables.
- Translate client objectives into clear, strategic briefs for Creative, Media, Content, and Brand teams.
- Provide strategic oversight and direction throughout campaign development and execution.
- Review and guide creative, media, and content outputs to ensure quality, relevance, and alignment with brand and marketing objectives.
- Ensure timely delivery of campaigns while maintaining high standards of marketing effectiveness and execution.
Marketing Planning, Performance & Optimisation:
- Oversee campaign planning and optimisation across channels, ensuring consistent messaging and effective audience engagement.
- Monitor campaign performance using relevant marketing metrics and insights.
- Lead post-campaign evaluations, drawing insights and learnings to improve future marketing strategies.
- Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to clients, focusing on impact, brand growth, and continuous improvement.
- Stay informed on marketing trends, tools, and best practices to enhance campaign innovation and effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Marketing Capability Development:
- Lead, mentor, and guide Brand Managers and client-facing team members, promoting marketing excellence and accountability.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on delivering strong marketing outcomes for clients.
- Support the development of marketing capabilities within the team through coaching, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training.
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration to ensure cohesive and integrated client delivery.
Client Growth & Account Development:
- Support client retention and growth through strategic marketing-led initiatives and campaign ideas.
- Partner with management to contribute to pitches, proposals, and client growth conversations.
- Identify opportunities for expanded scopes based on client marketing needs and performance insights.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5–6 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, or a creative agency environment.
- Strong experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Proven ability to manage senior client relationships and lead strategic marketing conversations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Hands-on experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously in an agency setting.
