Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Secretary to provide administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will manage schedules, handle correspondence, and support management with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain executives’ schedules, appointments, and meetings
- Prepare, organize, and maintain files, documents, and records
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence professionally
- Draft letters, reports, and other official documents
- Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items
- Maintain office supplies and ensure smooth office operations
- Receive visitors and provide necessary assistance
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience (2–4 years) as a Secretary, Personal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in secretarial or administrative studies
- Experience working in a corporate or structured office environment
- Familiarity with office management tools and equipment
- Basic knowledge of record-keeping and documentation
