Job Description

• We are seeking to hire an experienced service engineer to support installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of laboratory and analytical instruments, ensuring optimal equipment performance and client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Install and commission laboratory and analytical instruments


• Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedule


• Troubleshoot and repair electronic and electro-mechanical faults


• Assist in laboratory benching installation and instrument setup


• Provide first-level technical support to clients


• Escalate complex technical issues appropriately


• Maintain workshop tools and service documentation


• Provide technical input to Sales when required.

Qualifications

• B.Eng./HND in Electronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronics.


• 1 - 3 years’ experience in laboratory or biomedical equipment servicing.

Skills:

• Basic computer skills (MS Office and system configuration)


• Basic electronics troubleshooting


• Instrument installation and testing


• Technical documentation


• Sound knowledge of electronics and electro-mechanical systems


• Basic understanding of instrumentation principles and signal flow


• Preventive and corrective maintenance techniques


• Fault diagnosis and root cause analysis


• Equipment calibration and performance verification


• Familiarity with laboratory and biomedical instrumentation


• Time management and adherence to service schedules


• Customer service orientation and professional conduct


• Ability to work independently and within a field service team
