Job Overview




  • The Credit Sales Officer is responsible for driving revenue growth by building and managing relationships with high-value clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored financial solutions.

  • This role requires a strong understanding of financial products, excellent sales acumen, and the ability to balance client needs with risk and compliance considerations.



Key Duties & Responsibilities




  • Develop and maintain relationships with high-value loan clients through strategic sourcing and proactive outreach

  • Identify client needs and recommend tailored financial solutions aligned with their borrowing goals

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets, contributing directly to revenue growth

  • Promote and cross-sell company products while addressing client concerns in collaboration with internal teams

  • Conduct preliminary reviews of loan applications to identify and mitigate potential risks

  • Monitor loan performance and follow up with clients to ensure timely repayments, supporting recovery efforts where necessary

  • Engage clients on overdue obligations and implement effective recovery strategies in line with company policies

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies in all sales and recovery activities

  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, leveraging market insights to attract and retain clients

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and consistent client engagement

  • Support sales initiatives and collaborate with the broader team to achieve business objectives.



Requirements




  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2 - 5 years’ experience in credit sales, lending, or a related financial services role

  • Strong understanding of loan products, credit risk assessment, and client relationship management

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage both sales and recovery responsibilities effectively

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
