Job Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve income sales targets.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling fixed income products.
- Assist in Identifying/recommending investment vehicles that will help optimize the Bank’s asset and deposit liability portfolio.
- Generate and mobilize significant funds across the liquidity matrix.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Attract institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth clients.
- Understand clients' financial needs and provide appropriate fixed income solutions.
- Monitor financial markets, economic indicators, and interest rate movements.
- Analyze market conditions to provide timely and relevant advice to clients.
- Execute fixed income transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure seamless deal execution.
- Prepare and review necessary documentation for fixed income transactions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assess and manage risks associated with fixed income transactions.
- Generate regular treasury reports.
- Provide updates on management on market developments and client interactions.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications, Competency & Skills Required
- Minimum of First Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Banking, or related discipline.
- Master’s Degree would be an added advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CFA, CIS, ACA, ACCA, or relevant capital market certifications
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in treasury sales, investment banking, asset management, or financial markets
- Excellent communication skills
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Good track record of fund mobilization and managing large institutional clients.
- Good Knowledge of treasury Sales, Capital market and Operations.
- Business development and client relationship management skills
- Skills in Deal structuring and negotiation.
