Job Summary




  • Our client is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth, support client acquisition, and deliver technical procurement solutions across multiple sectors.

  • The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying business opportunities, delivering technical and procurement solutions, and managing client relationships.

  • The role involves supporting proposal and tender processes, providing technical expertise, and ensuring successful project delivery.

  • The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with sales expertise to understand client needs, recommend suitable solutions, and support business growth through effective client engagement and collaboration.



Responsibilities




  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries to support revenue growth.

  • Support the sales function by providing technical insights and delivering client-focused solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and participate in client meetings and site visits.

  • Analyze client requirements and recommend cost-effective procurement and technical solutions.

  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support and ensure alignment with client specifications.

  • Prepare and manage technical and commercial proposals, RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions.

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and provide after-sales support.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and pipeline documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support quality assurance in product selection and service delivery.



Requirements




  • First Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).

  • 3–5 years’ experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or procurement-related roles.

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and technical product solutions.

  • Experience in supply chain or related industries is an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong client relationship management and problem-solving abilities.
