Our client is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth, support client acquisition, and deliver technical procurement solutions across multiple sectors.
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying business opportunities, delivering technical and procurement solutions, and managing client relationships.
The role involves supporting proposal and tender processes, providing technical expertise, and ensuring successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with sales expertise to understand client needs, recommend suitable solutions, and support business growth through effective client engagement and collaboration.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries to support revenue growth.
Support the sales function by providing technical insights and delivering client-focused solutions.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and participate in client meetings and site visits.
Analyze client requirements and recommend cost-effective procurement and technical solutions.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support and ensure alignment with client specifications.
Prepare and manage technical and commercial proposals, RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and provide after-sales support.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and pipeline documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and regulatory requirements.
Support quality assurance in product selection and service delivery.
Requirements
First Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
3–5 years’ experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or procurement-related roles.
Strong understanding of procurement processes and technical product solutions.
Experience in supply chain or related industries is an added advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong client relationship management and problem-solving abilities.
