- This role involves overseeing the entire business development lifecycle, including market research, lead generation, client relationship management, and contract negotiation.
- The Head of Business Development will play a critical role in aligning business strategies with the company’s mission to provide high-quality, scalable, and cost-effective BPO solutions to clients across various industries.
Responsibilties
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate objectives.
- Identify and target new markets and customer segments to expand the company’s client base.
- Work closely with the executive team to set revenue targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.
- Analyze market data to develop insights and make informed business decisions.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Lead client presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
Lead Generation & Sales:
- Oversee the lead generation process, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching to team members.
- Collaborate with the product development team to tailor BPO solutions to meet client needs.
Reporting & Performance Metrics:
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, including sales forecasts, revenue targets, and market analysis.
Required
- A Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- An (MBA) or a related discipline is highly preferred.
- 10 - 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the BPO industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies that have led to significant revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of BPO industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
