Job Summary
- We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Associate Manager, Business Development to lead revenue growth initiatives, drive client acquisition, and strengthen the company’s market presence.
- This role requires a strong blend of leadership, sales expertise, and strategic thinking.
- The ideal candidate will develop and execute business development strategies, manage key client relationships, and lead the sales team to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Strategy:
- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives
- Identify new market opportunities, target industries, and revenue streams
- Drive initiatives to expand client base and market reach
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
Revenue Generation & Growth:
- Own and drive revenue targets across business units
- Build and manage a strong, high-value sales pipeline
- Lead deal structuring, negotiations, and contract closures
- Ensure consistent revenue growth from new and existing clients
Sales Leadership & Team Management:
- Supervise and support Field Sales & Marketing Executives
- Set clear sales targets and expectations
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback
- Track team performance and ensure accountability
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Lead client engagements, presentations, and proposals
- Ensure excellent client experience and retention
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Partnerships & Market Expansion:
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships
- Explore new channels for client acquisition and brand visibility
- Represent the company at industry events and networking platforms
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Provide regular reports on revenue, pipeline, and forecasts
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and improvement areas
- Maintain accurate business development records
- Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 6–7 years’ experience in business development, sales, or similar role
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and meeting targets
- Experience leading or managing a sales team
- Strong B2B sales and client relationship management experience
