The Cashier Booth Operator is responsible for managing parking transactions, validating tickets, and ensuring a smooth user experience at the cashier booth within the market.
Key Responsibilities
Verify that all devices (POS, systems, scanners, etc.) are functional at the start of the shift
Collect parking payments using POS devices and ensure accurate transaction processing
Validate every user ticket in the system without exception
Maintain a separate manual/digital record of all validated users during the shift
Report any discrepancies, technical issues, or irregularities to the Supervisor/Project Manager immediately
Assist and handle customers in a calm, professional, and polite manner
Ensure smooth transaction flow and minimize delays
At shift end: ○ Submit validation records to the Team Lead/Supervisor ○ Recheck all devices to ensure proper working condition
Requirements
Minimum: Graduate (any discipline)
Basic technical knowledge (ability to handle hardware & software systems)
Familiarity with POS machines and digital payment systems is preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage customer interactions Preferred Attributes
Responsible, detail-oriented, and reliable in handling transactions
Quick learner with basic troubleshooting ability
Shift Timings:
Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Evening Shift: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM (5.5 to 6 hours per shift).
