Reports To: Manager - Digital Marketing Brands



Division: Marketing 



Mission:




  • Create consistent, valuable content that positions the MTNN brand as a culturally relevant brand that enables progress, while increasing awareness across digital platforms.

  • Develop content that attracts new audiences, nurtures prospects, and keeps existing customers actively engaged throughout the customer journey.

  • Provide a structured platform for different business units (e.g., HR, Corporate Communications, Sustainability, Marketing) to showcase their initiatives and messages through coordinated content.



Description:




  • Develop and execute content acquisition strategy aligned to MTN brand building and commercial objectives like subscriber growth, ARPU uplift and product adoption targets

  • Implement full-funnel content attribution frameworks linking blog, landing, video and educational assets to measurable revenue and subscriber activation outcomes

  • Design content experiments across headlines, formats, CTAs and internal linking structures using statistically valid A B testing methodologies

  • Develop structured content taxonomies and tagging frameworks within CMS and analytics tools to enable granular performance tracking

  • Translate complex telecom and fintech propositions such as bundle mechanics, myMTN App and MoMo App features and digital self-service flows into conversion oriented educational assets

  • Monitor content decay trends and execute refresh strategies based on ranking volatility, engagement erosion and revenue contribution shifts

  • Partner with performance marketing teams to transform high ranking organic content into scalable paid landing experiences

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory communication standards while maintaining persuasive clarity in product messaging

  • Track regional and language-based performance differences to optimize localization strategy across Nigeria’s diverse subscriber base



Education:




  • A first degree in business-related or any social science discipline

  • Certifications in Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, or Digital Analytics

  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS), SEO, and social media platforms

  • Basic skills in analytics tools and reporting (e.g., Analytics, dashboards)

  • Fluent in English



Experience:



3-7 years’ experience which includes




  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital marketing

  • Creating and managing digital content across websites and social media

  • Analyzing content performance, engagement, and audience insights

  • Supporting content campaigns and editorial calendars

  • Working with creative, social media, and marketing teams

  • Optimizing content using SEO and performance data
