Job Summary




  • The Kitchen Assistant supports the kitchen team in daily food preparation and kitchen operations.

  • The role involves maintaining cleanliness, assisting chefs, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.

  • Training will be provided, so prior experience is not compulsory.



Key Responsibilities




  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting ingredients).

  • Keep the kitchen clean, including washing utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment.

  • Ensure proper hygiene and food safety standards are followed.

  • Help with arranging and storing food items and supplies.

  • Assist in setting up the kitchen before service and cleaning up after service.

  • Dispose of waste properly and keep work areas tidy.

  • Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors.

  • Support smooth kitchen operations at all times.



Requirements / Qualifications




  • Minimum of SSCE (preferred but not compulsory) with 0-1 year experience.

  • Experience is not compulsory – training will be provided.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

  • Willingness to learn and take corrections.

  • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.

  • Good personal hygiene and cleanliness.

  • Honest, punctual, and hardworking.
