- As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will act as the on-site technical leader, responsible for the commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of aero-derivative gas turbine control systems.
- You will operate across both onshore and offshore environments, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with OEM standards.
- You will serve as the primary technical interface with customers, leading field activities, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead on-site commissioning, maintenance, and servicing activities for gas turbine control systems and associated equipment
- Ensure all work is executed in line with OEM specifications, company procedures, and quality standards
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently, using advanced troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and system documentation to support maintenance and problem-solving
- Monitor project execution, identify risks (e.g. abnormal vibrations, safety issues), and implement corrective actions proactively
- Ensure availability of materials, tools, and resources required for successful project delivery
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting, including service reports, equipment history, and operational feedback
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customer representatives to ensure alignment and transparency
- Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules, personnel, and logistics for routine and major interventions
- Support operations and maintenance teams during high workload periods
- Promote and enforce Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, driving a strong zero-harm culture.
What You Bring
- Engineering Degree, preferably in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 8–10+ years of experience in gas turbine control systems
- Strong technical expertise in:
- Gas turbine controls (primary expertise)
- Mechanical systems (supporting knowledge)
- Rotating equipment packages
- Extensive experience working on recognized gas turbine product lines
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Proven experience in onshore and offshore environments (mandatory)
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office and technical software tools
- Deep understanding of aero-derivative gas turbine systems and operations is a strong advantage.
