About the Role




  • Our client a world class infrastructure service and power engineering industry is seeking a technically sound and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer who is comfortable working across both design and hands-on implementation phases.

  • The ideal candidate can think through complex electrical systems, troubleshoot effectively, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced project environment.



Key Responsibilities




  • Design, develop, and review electrical systems, schematics, and technical drawings

  • Carry out installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems

  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults both on-site and at the design/planning level

  • Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations

  • Prepare technical documentation including reports, material take-offs, and specifications

  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and contractors during project execution

  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets design intent and safety standards

  • Support procurement by providing technical input on electrical materials and equipment selection



Requirements




  • B.Eng. / B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering

  • Minimum of 3–5 years post-graduation experience in a relevant engineering role

  • Strong knowledge of electrical design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or similar is a plus)

  • Practical experience with LV/MV power systems, control panels, or building services is an advantage

  • COREN registration (or in progress) is preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on-site when required

  • Good communication and reporting skills
