Our client a world class infrastructure service and power engineering industry is seeking a technically sound and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer who is comfortable working across both design and hands-on implementation phases.
The ideal candidate can think through complex electrical systems, troubleshoot effectively, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced project environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and review electrical systems, schematics, and technical drawings
Carry out installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults both on-site and at the design/planning level
Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
Prepare technical documentation including reports, material take-offs, and specifications
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and contractors during project execution
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets design intent and safety standards
Support procurement by providing technical input on electrical materials and equipment selection
Requirements
B.Eng. / B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Minimum of 3–5 years post-graduation experience in a relevant engineering role
Strong knowledge of electrical design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, or similar is a plus)
Practical experience with LV/MV power systems, control panels, or building services is an advantage
COREN registration (or in progress) is preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on-site when required
