Key Responsibilities
- Manage securities documentation and support credit transactions
- Draft and review loan agreements, guarantees, and legal instruments
- Provide legal advisory and support due diligence activities
- Supervise litigation and coordinate external solicitors
- Oversee Board and Committee secretarial functions
- Handle regulatory filings and ensure full compliance
- Manage legal risks, IP, and regulatory engagements
- Lead and support team performance and delivery
Qualifications & Experience:
- LL.B. and B.L. with a valid practicing certificate
- 7 years minimum post-call experience (banking, financial services, or corporate practice)
- Strong experience in banking documentation, compliance, and litigation management
- Prior leadership experience is an added advantage
- Membership of professional bodies (NBA, ICSAN, CIBN, CIArb, SCGN) is desirable
