Job Summary




  • We are in need of a strategic and experienced Head of Procurement to lead our procurement function, optimize supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective sourcing that supports our company’s objectives.

  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships.



Job Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business goals, ensuring cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

  • Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing to secure the best value.

  • Manage and mentor a small procurement team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Proactively identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure business continuity.

  • Work closely with internal departments (operations, finance, legal) to understand their needs and ensure seamless procurement support.

  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to the company’s policies and legal regulations, promoting ethical sourcing practices



Job Requirements




  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.

  • Strong knowledge of Bidding and Tendering.

  • Proficiency with procurement software (ERP Systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.

  • A professional certificate, such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent, is an advantage.

  • Deep Knowledge of IOC.

  • Knowledgeable of oil and gas contracts, NIPEX, and all other statutory bodies/ Licenses related to the oil and gas sector.

  • Experience in managing large procurement budgets and complex supply chains.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills and one must be ready to work.
