- Plan, organize, and supervise all plantation activities (planting, irrigation, fertilization, harvesting).
- Develop and implement crop production schedules.
- Monitor crop health and ensure proper pest and disease control.
- Farm hands/staff supervision
- Manage farm workers and supervisors.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor performance.
- Ensure workers follow safety and operational procedures.
- Manage farm inputs such as seed planting, fertilizers, chemicals, and equipment.
- Ensure efficient use of water, land, and machinery.
- Maintain inventory records and procurement schedules.
- Prepare budgets and monitor expenses.
- Keep accurate records of production, labor, and costs.
- Report farm performance to owners or management.
- Ensure farm machinery and tools are properly maintained.
- Oversee repairs and servicing of equipment.
- Maintain irrigation systems and farm structures.
- Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations and environmental standards.
- Implement health and safety practices on the farm.
- Monitor proper handling of agrochemicals.
- Ensure high-quality crop yield and productivity.
- Implement best agricultural practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field.
- A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in plantation/Palms Planting or farm management.
- Preferably a Male between the ages of 30 and 45 years old
- Must be willing to relocate to Oyo State
