Assist in managingMagazine staff, drivers, and store Officers.
Train staff on procedures and safety protocols
Ensuring and supervising strict adherence to safety and security protocols to prevent unauthorized access, including security requirements for transporting hazardous materials.
Assist in Managing therelationships and compliance ofexplosive permit with therelevants government body.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 - 10 years experience in Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Supply chain, procurement or Transportation.
B.Sc or MBA / M.Sc in Logistics Management, Supply chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
The ideal candidate should be a member of Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM)
A member of Chartered Institude of Logistics and Transport (CILT)Nigeria.
Strong understanding of Inventory Control system.
Software and systems knowledge: Microsoft excel and other ERP system.
Knowledge of Nigeria laws regarding explosive handling, including obtaining permits from the Ministry of Mines and steel Development, End- User Certificates (EUCs) and complying with the NSA regulations.
Excellent communication skill both written and verbal.
Ability to plan and organise work process
Strong leadership skill
Ability to analyse logistics data, budget preparation and cost control experience.
Willingness to travel between plants, magazinesand customer locations when necessary.
Good knowledge of transportation laws, warehouse safety and regulatory compliance.
