Job Function




  • Ensure accurate receipts, storage and issuance of explosive materials

  • Planing secure, efficient routes for transport, and Coordinate timely dispatch of material to clients

  • Conduct regular checks, documentation receives and audit.

  • Monitor stock levels of raw materials, spare parts, and finished goods.

  • Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules

  • Coordinate movement of materials between Magazines and to clients destinatiion.

  • Maintain delivery notes, waybills, invoices, customs documents (if imports/exports are involved).

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.

  • Schedule servicing, repairs, licensing, and insurance renewals.

  • Eradictaelosses caused from damage, theft, or expired explosives

  • Assist in managingMagazine staff, drivers, and store Officers.

  • Train staff on procedures and safety protocols

  • Ensuring and supervising strict adherence to safety and security protocols to prevent unauthorized access, including security requirements for transporting hazardous materials.

  • Assist in Managing therelationships and compliance ofexplosive permit with therelevants government body.



Requirements




  • A minimum of 5 - 10 years experience in Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Supply chain, procurement or Transportation.

  • B.Sc or MBA / M.Sc in Logistics Management, Supply chain Management, Business Administration or related field.

  • The ideal candidate should be a member of Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM)

  • A member of Chartered Institude of Logistics and Transport (CILT)Nigeria.

  • Strong understanding of Inventory Control system.

  • Software and systems knowledge: Microsoft excel and other ERP system.

  • Knowledge of Nigeria laws regarding explosive handling, including obtaining permits from the Ministry of Mines and steel Development, End- User Certificates (EUCs) and complying with the NSA regulations.

  • Excellent communication skill both written and verbal.

  • Ability to plan and organise work process

  • Strong leadership skill

  • Ability to analyse logistics data, budget preparation and cost control experience.

  • Willingness to travel between plants, magazinesand customer locations when necessary.

  • Good knowledge of transportation laws, warehouse safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong leadership and problem solving skill.
