Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven, and highly experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and accelerate business growth! The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing and coaching a team of Sales Executives, cultivating key client relationships, and consistently driving revenue targets across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
- Monitor individual and team performance through KPIs and sales metrics, providing regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, partnerships, and strategic prospecting.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and strategic accounts.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of proposals, quotations, and contracts, ensuring alignment with company pricing and policies.
- Lead high-level negotiations and support the team in closing complex or high-value deals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales campaigns, lead generation activities, and brand messaging.
- Analyse sales data, pipeline reports, and market trends to forecast revenue and identify areas for growth.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new Sales Executives, fostering a high-performance culture within the department.
- Report sales performance, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to senior management on a regular basis.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and customer preferences to keep the team competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a sales leadership or managerial role.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and growing revenue.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop talent.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills at both client and executive levels.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
