Job Summary
- The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, planning, risk management, and financial reporting of the organization.
- The CFO provides strategic financial leadership and ensures the company’s financial health, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy aligned with business goals.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
- Lead long-term financial planning and forecasting.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and investment decisions.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Monitor financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate external audits and tax filings.
- Ensure strong internal controls and corporate governance.
Cash Flow & Capital Management:
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
- Oversee capital structure, debt management, and equity financing.
- Build relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
Risk Management:
- Identify financial and operational risks.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee insurance, investments, and asset management.
