Qualifications and skills
- A university degree in civil engineering, transport infrastructure, or a related field.
- A post-graduate degree (Master’s level or equivalent) in civil engineering, transport infrastructure, or a related relevant field.
- Fluency in English or French, with at least good working knowledge of the other language being an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with technical data related to road infrastructure and asset management.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
General professional experience
- At least 15 years of professional experience in road infrastructure, construction and maintenance, or civil engineering
- Significant experience working in developing countries, preferably in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Specific professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the planning, design, supervision, or management of major road and corridor infrastructure projects.
- Experience with performance-based maintenance systems and/or road asset management systems.
- Experience in multi-country or regional corridor initiatives will be considered an asset.
