Job Description
Responsibilities include designing and implementing research studies such as needs assessments, baseline, midline, and endline evaluations.
- The role also involves managing data systems, analyzing complex datasets, and generating actionable insights to support program decision-making and performance improvement.
- Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive MEL frameworks aligned with donor requirements and program objectives.
- They will work closely with program teams to ensure data-driven planning, execution, and continuous improvement across interventions.
Requirements:
- Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Data Science, Social Sciences, or a related field, with 4–8+ years of progressive experience in research, data analytics, or MEL within development, consulting, or public sector environments.
- An advanced degree such as MSc, MPH, MPP, or PhD is strongly preferred.
- Experience with donor-funded programs and sectors like global health, education, nutrition, or social protection is an added advantage.
