Job Summary




  • We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Portfolio Management to oversee the organization’s portfolio of investments, projects, or client accounts (as applicable).

  • The role is responsible for driving portfolio performance, optimizing returns, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, and managing risk across all portfolio activities.



Key Responsibilities




  • Lead the development and execution of portfolio management strategies aligned with corporate objectives

  • Oversee the performance of all active portfolios and ensure optimal returns and value creation

  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews, analysis, and reporting to senior management

  • Identify underperforming assets/projects and recommend corrective actions

  • Manage risk exposure across the portfolio and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards

  • Collaborate with business units to ensure effective allocation of resources

  • Drive investment decisions and prioritization frameworks based on data and strategic fit

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the portfolio management team

  • Engage with stakeholders, partners, and external advisors where necessary



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage)

  • 8–12 years’ relevant experience in portfolio management, investment management, project portfolio oversight, or related field

  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and risk management skills

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex portfolios

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CIPM, PMP) is an added advantage
