Description

• We are looking for a friendly and efficient Waiter to provide excellent customer service in our restaurant/eatery.


• The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.


• Present menus, explain dishes and specials, and make suitable recommendations.


• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen/bar.


• Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally, checking that presentation is correct.


• Check guest satisfaction during and after meals and respond to complaints or special requests politely.


• Clear and reset tables quickly, keeping the dining area clean and tidy.


• Prepare checks, collect payments (cash or POS), and give correct change.


• Assist with basic opening and closing duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a waiter, server, or in a similar customer‑service role is an advantage.


• Good communication skills in English and local language(s).


• Ability to work on your feet for long hours in a busy setting.


• Honest, respectful, and able to handle guests professionally, including difficult situations.


• Basic understanding of hygiene and food‑service standards.
