Job Description
Ekolog (EKO Logistics & Food Company Ltd) is seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Dispatch Officer to coordinate dispatch activities, ensure accurate documentation, and support efficient fleet operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will oversee loading activities, maintain dispatch records, ensure compliance with operational procedures, and support smooth communication between drivers, fleet operations, and clients. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch Coordination & Fleet Support
- Coordinate daily truck dispatch activities and monitor trip schedules
- Verify all gas purchase receipts, delivery waybills, and trip documentation submitted by drivers
- Ensure all dispatched goods are properly arranged according to truck capacity and operational safety standards
- Supervise loading operations to ensure quantities loaded correspond accurately with waybill records
- Ensure heavy-duty equipment on low-beds are properly positioned and secured for safe transit
- Confirm that cargo transported does not compromise the physical condition or safety of the truck
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure all Ekolog dispatch documents are properly signed by clients and accurately documented
- Scan, organize, and maintain both softcopy and hardcopy dispatch documentation
- Maintain accurate trip scheduling and operational records
- Prepare daily dispatch reports and documentation compliance reports
- Ensure timely submission of operational and compliance reports
Operational Monitoring
- Inspect returning trucks to ensure they are properly washed and maintained in good physical condition
- Support adherence to operational safety and logistics procedures
- Escalate documentation discrepancies, operational issues, or dispatch irregularities to management promptly
- Support continuous improvement of dispatch and fleet coordination processes
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management,
- Business Administration, or related field
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics coordination, dispatch operations, or fleet administration
- Experience within a logistics or transportation company is an added advantage

- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools
- Familiarity with logistics documentation and dispatch processes
