What You Will Do




  • As a Pharmacist at Gleeworld Pharmacy, you will play a central role in patient care and modern pharmacy operations.



Your responsibilities will include:



Patient Care & Medication Counseling




  • Review and dispense prescriptions accurately and responsibly

  • Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and adherence

  • Provide real-time telepharmacy consultations where patients may be represented at the counter by a trusted proxy (staff, caregiver, or family member), while the pharmacist speaks directly with the patient

  • Ask clinical screening questions to ensure medications are safe and appropriate before dispensing

  • Support medication therapy management and patient follow-up initiatives



Telepharmacy Operations




  • Support telepharmacy workflows that enable patients to access pharmacist care without always being physically present at the pharmacy

  • Coordinate care between patients, caregivers, and pharmacy staff through real-time communication

  • Ensure safe, responsible, and patient-centered medication access for busy households and caregivers

  • Escalate urgent or complex cases for physician referral when necessary



Inventory & Compliance




  • Manage pharmaceutical inventory and stock monitoring processes

  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, professional standards, and safety protocols

  • Coordinate medication sourcing and supplier follow-ups for temporarily unavailable medicines



Data & Operational Support




  • Support healthcare data analysis and reporting initiatives

  • Assist in identifying medication trends, adherence patterns, and operational insights

  • Work with operations and technology teams to improve pharmacy workflows and patient experience

  • Contribute to building scalable pharmacy systems and innovative healthcare solutions



Qualifications & Requirements




  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree

  • Current license to practice as a Pharmacist in Nigeria

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription management, and patient counseling

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to confidently manage real-time patient consultations (including telepharmacy interactions)

  • High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled pharmacy environment

  • Familiarity with digital health or telepharmacy systems is an advantage

  • Basic proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or healthcare reporting tools is a plus

  • Strong interest in healthcare analytics, pharmacy operations intelligence, or digital health data systems

  • Exposure to data-driven decision-making in clinical, retail, or operational environments is a strong advantage

  • Analytical mindset with interest in operational improvement and patient-centered care

  • Ability to commute to Lekki for on-site shifts
