We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team at Moni to propel our mission of building the Future of Community Finance in Africa!

What you’ll do.

• Work closely with the Finance team to ensure smooth finance operations


• Assisting with research, data entry, recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records for the Finance team and also support the company & clients


• Working with bookkeeping software and excel to post day-to-day journal entries


• Help with accounts receivable and payables


• Conduct bank statement reconciliation


• Assist with audits


• Making reimbursement and other payments


• Shadowing the other members of the finance department as they perform their duties.


• Make recommendations for improvement that would enhance general growth


• Research current economic and financial outlook


• Provide solutions to accounting issues as they arise


• Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities

Requirements:

• 1+ years professional experience in Accounting


• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related discipline with at least a Second Class Upper


• Experience working in a fast paced, remote environment is an added advantage


• Outstanding written and oral communication skills


• Strong familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and ERPs


• Comfort preparing and delivering reports to decision makers


• Strong critical thinking skills

SALARY

N150,000 - 200,000 per month
