Job Description







  • Clinix Healthcare is seeking a skilled, experienced, and patient-focused Sonographer to join our radiology team at the Ajegunle branch. We are committed to delivering high-quality ultrasound diagnostic services with accuracy, safety, and compassion.



Responsibilities




  • Perform high-quality ultrasound scans including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and other specialized scans as required.

  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.

  • Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and comfort during procedures while explaining the process clearly.

  • Produce accurate, high-resolution images and provide preliminary reports for review by radiologists or physicians.

  • Collaborate with radiologists, obstetricians, and other clinicians to support timely and precise diagnosis.

  • Maintain detailed patient records, scan logs, and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Adhere strictly to infection control, patient confidentiality, and ultrasound safety protocols.

  • Participate in quality assurance programs and equipment maintenance.

  • Assist in training junior staff when necessary.



Requirements & Skills




  • Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).

  • Strong technical proficiency in ultrasound imaging and equipment operation.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret ultrasound images accurately.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with a caring, patient-centered approach.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

  • Computer literate with proficiency in ultrasound reporting systems and PACS.

  • Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and patient safety.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Radiography / Sonography or Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound from a recognized institution.

  • Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).

  • National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate (completed).

  • Minimum of 2–3 years post-qualification experience in diagnostic ultrasound.

  • Experience in a multi-specialty hospital or diagnostic center is an added advantage.
