About the Role
- The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and maximizing sales across hotel services (rooms, events, F&B).
- This role focuses on achieving sales targets while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction aligned with Hyatt’s brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities (corporate, leisure, MICE segments)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, travel agents, and corporate partners
- Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and client presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with marketing and revenue management teams
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
- 3–6+ years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts
- Knowledge of local and international travel markets is a plus
