  • A Facilities Officer oversees and maintains a company's physical workspaces to ensure a safe, functional, and conducive environment for employees.

Core Responsibilities




  • Building Maintenance: Plan and execute preventive and reactive maintenance schedules for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural systems.

  • Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant work orders, addressing complaints, and ensuring a conducive environment for occupants.

  • Vendor Management: Source, negotiate, and supervise the performance of external contractors, cleaners, security personnel, and utility providers.

  • Health & Safety: Conduct regular property inspections to guarantee strict compliance with local safety codes, fire regulations, and emergency preparedness.

  • Financial & Budget: Forecast maintenance expenses, track operational costs, manage service charge budgets, and prepare periodic financial reports.

  • Uptime of Utilities: Ensuring uninterrupted power, water, and elevator services.

  • Response Time: Resolving tenant complaints and maintenance tickets within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Budget Variance: Operating within the approved facility maintenance budget without compromising quality.

  • Compliance & Audit: Maintaining zero regulatory penalties and high safety ratings.
