Client Acquisition & Mobilization: Sourcing new clients in local communities, market clusters, or rural areas, and educating them on microfinance products like group and individual loans.
Credit Appraisal & Risk Assessment: Conducting field visits and analyzing cash flows, business viability, and household income levels to determine a client's creditworthiness.
Loan Processing & Documentation: Structuring loan terms, preparing financial spreadsheets, and compiling necessary credit files in accordance with the MFI's lending methodology.
Portfolio Management: Actively tracking active loans to ensure proper utilization of funds. They are heavily focused on preventing bad debt and keeping the Portfolio at Risk (PAR) low.
Repayment Collection: Facilitating repayment schedules, setting up payment plans, and following up on overdue or defaulted payments.
