Responsibilities




  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the account department.

  • Types accurately and maintan all accounting records and documents

  • Process business tranactions like accounts payable and receivable documents, expense vouchers and receipts.

  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger, postings and statements.

  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

  • Assisting with audit,facts check, and resolving discrepancies

  • Handling communications with vendors via phone, email and in person

  • Processing bank transactions

  • Reconcie accounts in a timely manner

  • Daily entry of financial transactions

  • Reconcile all cash retirements and imperest account

  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies

  • Inform managementand and compile report summaries on accouting activities

  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.



Key Result Areas




  • Repporting and analysin of income statement by 5th of every month

  • Updating costing of every point in both brands of the business

  • Update stock variation on monthly basis

  • Update daily input /posting and recording of accounting document on ERP

  • Providing operations on annual , quarterly and monthly budget.



Educational Experience and Qualifications




  • Minimum of HND, or university degree in accounting .

  • Relevant qualification willbean added advantage.

  • Miniimum of two years working experience in account payable or or receivable function



Skills, Competencies and Requirements:




  • Proven accounting experience preferable as an Account Receivable Clerk, or Accounts Payable Clerk

  • Familiarity with book keeping or basic accounting ptocedures

  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software

  • Handson experience with spreasdheets and financial report

  • Accuracy and attention to details

  • Aptitude for numbers

  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping task

  • Data entry and word processing skills
