Job Summary
- As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented Field Sales & Marketing Executive to drive customer acquisition, build strategic business partnerships, and accelerate revenue growth.
- The Field Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for expanding Beem Farm Foods' customer base by driving both.
- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, meeting people, negotiating business opportunities, and consistently delivering sales results.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Identify and onboard new B2B customers across Lagos.
- Develop strategic partnerships with hotels, restaurants, cafés, lounges, bars, caterers, supermarkets, grocery stores, food vendors, and corporate organizations.
- Generate new business opportunities through cold visits, referrals, networking, and market prospecting.
- Build a robust pipeline of prospective customers and convert leads into active accounts.
- Negotiate supply agreements and maintain strong business relationships with clients.
Sales & Customer Acquisition:
- Drive retail (B2C) customer acquisition through field marketing and direct engagement.
- Promote Beem Farm Foods' product offerings to prospective customers.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Execute promotional activities, product sampling, and offline marketing campaigns where necessary.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to existing customers.
Account Management:
- Maintain regular engagement with existing customers to encourage repeat business.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor customer purchasing patterns and identify opportunities for increased sales.
Market Intelligence:
- Gather market insights on customer preferences, competitor activities, pricing trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Provide regular market feedback and recommendations to management.
Reporting:
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports.
- Track leads, customer visits, conversions, and sales performance using approved reporting templates.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The successful candidate will be evaluated based on:
- Achievement of monthly sales targets.
- Number of new B2B accounts onboarded.
- Number of HoReCa partnerships established.
- Growth in B2C customer acquisition.
- Customer retention and repeat purchase rate.
- Revenue generated from assigned territories.
- Quality and consistency of sales reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in field sales, business development, or marketing.
- Experience selling food products, FMCG, hospitality supplies, or related products is highly preferred.
- Demonstrable experience working with or selling into the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) industry.
- Strong knowledge of Lagos markets and commercial areas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities and close sales independently.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong passion for achieving targets.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic reporting tools is an added advantage.
