We are seeking a proactive and experienced Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cassava and palm oil processing facility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, managing production staff, and driving continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate cassava and palm oil processing activities.
Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Monitor raw material usage, production output, and inventory levels.
Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage production staff and promote a productive work environment.
Prepare production reports and recommend process improvements.
Minimize waste and optimize operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or HND in Food Technology, Food Science, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in food processing, agro-processing, or manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of cassava processing, palm oil production, and quality control systems.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Practical knowledge of cassava and palm oil processing equipment and workflows.
Familiarity with NAFDAC, SON, and HACCP standards.
Proficiency in basic MS Excel/Google Sheets for production tracking. Experience with ERP is an advantage.
Knowledge of local supply networks in Ijebu, Abeokuta, Sagamu areas is a plus.
