Summary




  • We are seeking a highly organized, self-driven, and proactive Executive Assistant to support a fast-moving product management executive while driving project execution across product and business operations for a leading cross-border payments business in Sub-Saharan Africa

  • The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative and project support to senior executives by managing schedules, coordinating business activities, tracking projects, conducting research, and ensuring the timely execution of key initiatives.

  • The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities




  • Manage the executive's calendar, inbox, priorities, and daily task list, ensuring seamless scheduling and timely follow-through on all commitments.

  • Deliver high-quality research and business analyses including Concept Notes, User Research Reports, Market Research, and Business Cases to support strategy development and execution.

  • Track open projects, deadlines, blockers, and follow-ups across the business.

  • Coordinate and monitor projects, ensuring tasks are completed within agreed timelines.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, project documentation, and other business materials.

  • Turn the executive’s KPIs/client requests into clear tasks/work breakdowns, specs, and action items.

  • Maintain project trackers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.

  • Organise product feedback from customers, internal users, and industry stakeholders and assist in translating business requirements into actionable tasks.

  • Maintain project boards in tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Jira

  • Develop relevant project and product documentation including, SOPs, Project Charter, Execution Plan, Project Trackers, Feature Requirement Documents (FRD), Product Requirement Document (PRD), Action Plans, project briefs, and other required internal documentation.

  • Support other executive, operational, and project or product-related tasks as required by the business.



Requirements




  • First Degree in Law with a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Executive Assistant, Project Assistant, Operations Associate, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within the fintech, payments, FMCG, or e-commerce industry.

  • Hands-on experience in a Business Analysis, Project Management, or Product Management capacity.

  • Experience supporting senior executives or founders in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organisational, time-management, and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Notion, or Jira.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience in business analysis, project management, or product management is an added advantage.
