Job Summary
Whipsmart Services Provider Limited is recruiting on behalf of a reputable luxury hotel in Agungi, Lekki, Lagos, for the position of Sales & Marketing Manager. We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven professional to lead the hotel's sales and marketing function, drive revenue growth, strengthen brand visibility, and maximize sales across room bookings, conferences, banquets, corporate accounts, and food & beverage services.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in hotel sales and marketing, exceptional business development skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities from corporate organizations, government agencies, travel agencies, event planners, and other key market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to maximize repeat business.
- Drive revenue growth across room bookings, conference facilities, banquet events, and food & beverage services.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic performance reports.
- Coordinate digital and offline marketing campaigns to strengthen the hotel's brand presence.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the hotel at exhibitions, trade shows, networking events, and other industry functions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and service delivery.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve departmental goals.
- Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems and other sales management tools.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales & Marketing within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel sales, revenue generation, and customer relationship management.
- Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent business development, networking, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Knowledge of Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is an added advantage.
