Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Modern Trade Sales Executive to drive sales growth across supermarkets, factories, and other modern retail outlets within Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, increasing product availability and visibility, achieving sales targets, and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the company's stationery products to supermarkets, factories, and other modern trade customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and key decision-makers.
- Follow up on order fulfilment
- Ensure products are well displayed and consistently available on shelves
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Prepare and submit sales and market activity reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' sales experience in the stationery or FMCG industry.
- Proven experience working with supermarkets, modern trade outlets, or key retail accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to meet sales targets and work independently.
- Good knowledge of Lagos market and major retail outlets is an added advantage.
- Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Achieve sales growth and revenue targets
- Reduce outstanding debts and ensure timely payment collection
- Identify and add new products to the supply list
- Maintain high customer service standards and ensure timely delivery of products
