The Product & Customer Research Lead is a full-time, hybrid role based in Abuja (mostly remote, with in-person interviews, fieldwork, and team sessions as needed). You'll help us decide what to build, who to build for, and what customers will actually pay for, grounded in market evidence rather than internal opinion. Day to day: plan and run customer discovery; interview SMEs, accountants, educators, students, recruiters, and business owners; and dig out urgent pain points, buying triggers, current alternatives, budget owners, and willingness to pay. You'll design surveys, interview guides, concept tests, and prototype sessions; turn findings into requirements, journeys, and MVP scope with the PM and designer; and produce concise briefs with clear calls: build, narrow, pause, or kill. You'll also support pricing and competitor research, build a reusable research repository, and work with GTM/BD to find design partners and pilot customers.
