Job Description

• The High School Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in their subject area, fostering academic excellence, and preparing students for internal and external examinations under the British and Nigerian curricula, including IGCSE, WAEC, and NECO.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British and Nigerian curricula.


• Prepare students for IGCSE, WAEC, and NECO examinations.


• Assess, monitor, and report students' academic progress.


• Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials.


• Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.


• Integrate ICT into teaching and learning where appropriate.


• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities.


• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress.
