About the Role




  • We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our growing team. If you have a passion for sales, building client relationships, and driving business growth within the IT or Cybersecurity industry.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring corporate clients, managing key accounts, and driving revenue through the promotion of our cybersecurity and IT solutions.



Key Responsibilities




  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.

  • Generate qualified leads and manage the sales pipeline from initial engagement to deal closure.

  • Promote the company's cybersecurity and IT solutions to prospective corporate clients.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.

  • Understand clients' business needs and recommend tailored technology solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, presentations, quotations, and product demonstrations.

  • Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to develop solutions that address client requirements.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new market opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities using CRM tools.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and networking opportunities when required.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management within the Information Technology or Cybersecurity industry.

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales and corporate account management.

  • Good understanding of cybersecurity solutions, cloud services, networking, or enterprise IT solutions is an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong business development, relationship management, and closing skills.

  • Ability to work independently, meet targets, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications.
