Job Summary

• The Mobile App Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for iOS and/or Android, working with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, performant, and user-friendly mobile experiences from concept through release.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms


• Build reusable, testable, and efficient code using native or cross-platform frameworks


• Integrate mobile applications with back-end APIs and third-party services


• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across devices


• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive mobile interfaces


• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing applications


• Manage app store submissions, releases, and version updates


• Stay current with mobile platform updates, guidelines, and best practices

Requirements

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling local data storage


• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and platform design guidelines (Material Design/iOS HIG)


• Familiarity with version control (Git) and mobile CI/CD pipelines


• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)


• 3–5 years of professional mobile application development experience


• React Native – strong working proficiency (Required)


• TypeScript – strong working proficiency (Required)


• Experience with app store submission and release processes


• Experience with both iOS and Android development (native or cross-platform) is an added advantage


• Familiarity with push notifications, in-app purchases, and analytics SDKs is an added advantage


• Knowledge of mobile security and performance optimization best practices is an added advantage


• Experience with automated testing frameworks for mobile (XCTest, Espresso, Detox) is an added advantage
