Job Summary




  • We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Deputy Manager to support the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of both the Travel and Education teams.

  • The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, lead team performance, ensure exceptional customer service, and contribute to business growth while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.



Responsibilities




  • Support the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Travel and Education teams.

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and productivity.

  • Monitor departmental KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance and service delivery.

  • Ensure timely processing of travel bookings, visa applications, admissions, and other client services.

  • Resolve escalated client complaints and ensure prompt issue resolution.

  • Coordinate with airlines, embassies, institutions, partners, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.

  • Review reports, monitor sales performance, and identify opportunities for business growth.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

  • Assist in developing and implementing operational processes, policies, and service improvements.

  • Conduct staff coaching, performance reviews, and on-the-job training where required.

  • Collaborate with Management on strategic initiatives, budgeting, and departmental planning.

  • Prepare operational and performance reports for Management.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager or Management.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Travel & Tourism, International Relations, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in travel, education consulting, or a related service industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

  • Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple teams and achieve operational targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

  • Knowledge of travel operations, visa processing, and international admissions is an added advantage.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
