Our client is seeking a detail-oriented MEP QA/QC Engineer to oversee the quality assurance and quality control of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems on construction projects.
The successful candidate will ensure all installations comply with project specifications, international standards, safety regulations, and client requirements while supporting testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
Key Responsibilities
Implement QA/QC procedures for MEP works in line with project specifications, approved drawings, and international standards.
Conduct inspections, testing, and quality audits of MEP installations, materials, and workmanship.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, ITPs, checklists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout project execution.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and third-party inspectors to ensure quality compliance.
Support testing, commissioning, defect resolution, and final handover of MEP systems.
Requirements
HND or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in MEP QA/QC within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, QA/QC processes, construction standards, and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, etc.).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, Microsoft Office, and quality management systems is an added advantage.
Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
