Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to generate qualified business leads.
- Engage prospective clients, understand their business needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Schedule meetings or product demonstrations for the business development team where applicable.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Achieve individual sales, revenue, and activity targets.
- Build long-term relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients.
- Provide regular reports on pipeline status, sales performance, and market feedback.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success in selling products or services to businesses over the phone and through virtual channels.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong experience in outbound cold calling, lead generation, and appointment setting.
- Ability to identify customer needs, present solutions, and close sales effectively.
- Experience managing a structured sales pipeline from prospecting to deal closure.
- Excellent negotiation, objection-handling, and persuasive communication skills.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate decision-makers.
- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics) to manage leads and sales activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
What Will Be Expected:
- You will be expected to work onsite for one to two months for performance monitoring.
