Job Summary
The Bakery Manager is responsible for the overall management of bakery operations, including production, sales performance, customer satisfaction, staff supervision, quality control, inventory management, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all bakery operations and ensure smooth daily activities.
- Monitor production output to meet customer demand.
- Ensure consistent product quality and presentation.
- Drive bakery sales and profitability targets.
- Supervise bakery staff and monitor performance.
- Manage inventory levels and prevent stock shortages.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
- Monitor production costs and control wastage.
- Coordinate maintenance of bakery equipment.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Prepare operational and performance reports.
- Implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Food Technology, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in bakery operations, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Experience managing a commercial bakery is preferred.
