Multiple Locations: Ozubulu (Anambra), Jos (Plateau), Awka (Anambra), Suleja (Niger)



Salary:₦350,000Gross



Job Summary



The Head of Accounts is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the assigned location. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, statutory compliance, and strong internal controls across all business units, including the bakery, restaurant, mart, and filling station.



Key Responsibilities




  • Supervise all accounting operations within the branch.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Develop and monitor departmental and branch budgets.

  • Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.

  • Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operations.

  • Oversee bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.

  • Ensure timely remittance of taxes, pensions, and statutory deductions.

  • Implement and maintain strong financial controls.

  • Monitor revenue collections and investigate discrepancies.

  • Support management with financial analysis and business insights.

  • Coordinate internal and external audits.

  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Supervise and mentor accounting personnel.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

  • ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.

  • Minimum of 5 years' accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Experience in retail, hospitality, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors is an advantage.
