Job Summary
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy between physical inventory and system records through daily reconciliations, variance investigation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Reconciliation:
- Perform daily inventory reconciliations.
- Reconcile inbound, outbound, returns, and stock transfers.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Close reconciliation variances promptly.
Variance Investigation:
- Identify root causes of inventory variances.
- Coordinate with warehouse and relevant stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) records.
Documentation & System Control:
- Verify inventory documents and transaction records.
- Ensure timely system updates.
- Maintain reconciliation reports and supporting documentation.
Reporting & MIS:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation MIS reports.
- Track variance trends and recommend corrective actions.
Audit & Compliance:
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Continuous Improvement:
- Recommend improvements to reconciliation processes.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Diploma in Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years' experience in reconciliation, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
- Working knowledge of ERP/WMS.
- FMCG experience preferred.
