Position Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Construction Plant Administrator with a minimum of 6 years of proven expertise in managing and coordinating construction plant operations.


• The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient utilization, maintenance, and administration of heavy machinery and plant equipment across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of construction plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.


• Equipment Scheduling: Coordinate the allocation and scheduling of machinery to meet project timelines and minimize downtime.


• Maintenance Oversight: Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, liaising with service teams to reduce breakdowns.


• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of plant assets, spare parts, and consumables.


• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, health and safety protocols, and company policies.


• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on plant utilization, costs, and performance metrics for management review.


• Vendor & Contractor Liaison: Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to secure timely support and cost-effective solutions.


• Team Coordination: Support site managers and project teams with plant-related administrative tasks and guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in construction plant administration or related field.


• Strong knowledge of heavy machinery operations, maintenance, and compliance standards.


• Proficiency in plant management software and MS Office Suite.


• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation

• 
  

  Competitive salary range: N150,000 – N300,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
